Today we had to create our own mug, we could create any kind of mug or a cup. To create the mug shown below, first I sketched half of the mug from the left side without the handle. I put in random dimensions for the mug because the mug wasn’t going to be printed or used, after I put in the dimensions I put a center line on the right side and I Revolved boss/bass the center line and I got what is shown below. Next I moved the front plane so it touches the side and than I sketched a rectangle on the side. Next I created the handle, for the handle I just sketched randomly and put in dimensions but the dimensions of the handle wasn’t larger than the mug and I extrude and fillet. Last I assemble the parts I mate the mug and the handle.
Next I had the create a model 4 x 3 Post Cap, first I sketched half of the model from the left I sketched it as it looks on the blueprint. Next I put in the dimensions the whole length of the model is 4in so I put the whole length to 2 and the height of the model is 1.375in. The base from the top in 1in. Next I Revolved boss/bass it, last I fillet all the corners to R.125 and that was it.
Last I had to create a spoon, first I sketched half of the base of the spoon and it wasn’t going to use it so I just put in random dimensions. after the dimensions I Revolved boss/bass it, and than I fillet the bottom of the base and the top and that was it because I didn’t have enough time to finish it.
