Today I had to create two parts and after I created the two parts we had to assemble it. First I created the model that’s called the top housing, first I sketch a square and dimension the sides to 5in, than extrude. Next I created a another square inside the first square and I pressed for construction, after that I sketched small circles on the edges of the construction square and the diameter of them are all .201in. Last I extruded the circles all though.
This model is call the bottom housing. First I sketched a square that was 5in on all sides, than I sketch a square for construction like what I did on the Top housing and it was. Next I sketch small circles like the top housing and it’s the same diameter, after that I clicked shell and the the construction line got extrude cut but the hole part didn’t as shown below. Next I sketched a rectangle on a side of square, after that I dimension it the height of the rectangle is .375in and the weight is 3.5in and the bottom of the part of the rectangle is .438in away from the bottom side of the square, than the side of the rectangle is .075in away form the square square. Last I fillet the edges and the corners to the radius of .125in.
This is the finishing part of the bottom and the top housing after it is assembled. To connect the two parts, I Mate the front planes of the top housing and the bottom housing, and the top with top and the right with right.
